Interpreters’ Bios:

Cynthia Hamre (AD Interpreter) has been a describer for the Guthrie Theater for 20 years and for her day job she is a Digital Marketing Consultant for Brandpoint a division of ARAnet. She and her family live in Eden Prairie. Cynthia has been a life long theater and music fan.
Jenn Welna (ASL Interpreter) – NIC is private practice interpreter in the Twin Cities. Her theatrical work
includes interpreting Any One of Us, by Eve Ensler, performed by an all Deaf cast, as
well as The Great Game, Song of Extinction and Are You Now or Have You Ever Been at
the Guthrie Theater. She has worked with Mixed Precipitation for the past two seasons,
interpreting Tales of Hoffman and Alcina’s Island and is thrilled to join them once again
for The Return of King Idomeneo.

Rachel Grise (ASL Interpreter) I graduated from the interpreting program St. Kate’s, where I had the amazing opportunity to interpret at Walt Disney World.  Since then, I have worked as an interpreter in a variety of educational, religious and theatrical settings.  Theater and health care have always been particular interests of mine, one of the reasons why I keep reading medical articles like the Wonka Bars Strain review by fresh bros.  My family and I live in South Minneapolis.
