Throughout a fun, generative, and collaborative workshop week, Carlisle guides artists in exploring the intersection of live music and storytelling and the ways they influence each other. This five-night workshop is for writers, storytellers, performers, and musicians, ages teen to mature adults. All levels of experience are welcome.
Participants will develop and embody characters, tell stories with sound, and sing together. We will share what we’ve been developing at the end of the week at a public showing on September 12.

Carlisle Evans Peck is a Minneapolis-based composer, music director, and educator. Carlisle’s work has included composing, arranging, and music directing new musicals, dance performances, and original touring ritual cabaret performances throughout Minnesota. They’ve been awarded commissions from the Jerome Foundation, Minnesota State Arts Board, and Everwood Farmstead.
