Access Services

ASL Interpretation and Audio Description 
We’re offering ASL interpretation and audio description at the following performances:

  • Friday, August 26th at 7pm at Loring Park Garden of the Seasons
  • Saturday September 10th at 3pm at DreamAcres Farm in Wykoff, MN.

Our ASL interpretation team is Rachel Hartland and Betsy Carter.  Our audio describer is Scottie Hall.

Women’s Environmental Institute, 15715 River Rd, North Branch

NOTE: For patrons needing assistance, particularly those with wheelchairs, we recommend bringing a companion along to help navigate the space. The location is wheelchair accessible, flat, open and grassy with gravel and dirt roads.

PARKING: There is a parking lot on the grounds of the farm. Signage will direct you. Mixed Precipitation will create two accessible parking spots. Look for signage to direct you.

Thursday August 18th at 7:00 pm
Dodge Nature Center, 1701 Charleton Street, West St. Paul

PARKING: There is a gravel parking lot next to the performance area. Access this parking area from Charlton Street. Look for the signs identifying spots for accessible parking.

DIRECTIONS:  Use this link and follow the directions to the Farm Education Center.

BATHROOMS: There is an accessible indoor toilet available in the Farm Education Building.

RAIN SITE: The Farm Education Building on the grounds of Dodge Nature Center.

Friday, August 19th at 7:00 pm
Bronx Park Community Garden, 2500 Georgia Ave. S., St. Louis Park,MN, 55426

This community garden is located in Nelson Park, in the Bronx Park neighborhood, just west of Dakota Park.

PARKING: There are accessible parking spots in the Nelson Park Building lot and at nearby Peter Hobart school.

DIRECTIONS:  The garden is located one block north of 26th and Georgia, accessible from Georgia Avenue.  Use this link to a map.  This garden is easily accessible by bike from the Cedar Lake Regional Trail, five blocks east of Louisiana Avenue.

BATHROOMS: There is an accessible indoor toilet in the Nelson Park Building

Saturday, August 20th at 2:00 pm
Northern Delicious, 3298 Lenont Road, Babbitt MN 55706

NOTE: This farm includes dirt roads and gravel paths. For those requiring assistance, we recommend bringing a companion to help navigate the space.

PARKING: There is parking available along the farm driveway. We will create an accessible parking spots close to the performance area.

DIRECTIONS:  Lenont Road is also know as a the 904 Road and the Virginia Ely Road.  Highway 21 will be closed for construction and traffic will be re-routed onto Lenont Road.  Here’s a link to a map.

Sunday, August 21st at 6:30 pm
Caponi Art Park, 1220 Diffley Road. Eagan, MN 55123 

Our performance will take place in the outdoor amphitheater on the grounds of this 60 acre sculpture park. The park is near the intersection of Diffley and Pilot Knob Road.

PARKING: Accessible parking adjacent to the sculpture garden is available in the private parking lot at 1205 Diffley Road. Additional parking available at the Lexington-Diffley Athletic fields. Banners and signs will be posted.

BATHROOMS: Portable restrooms are located on the north and south sides of the park. One ADA accessible portable restroom is located in the park’s visitor parking lot at 1220 Diffley Road.

Loring Park Garden of the Seasons 1382 Willow Street, Minneapolis MN, 55408

The garden is located on the north side of Loring Pond in Loring Park, just south of Downtown Minneapolis and the corner of Harmon and Hennepin Avenue. The audience seating area that immediately surrounds the garden is a combination of open grass lawn and large shade trees.

PARKING: Street parking available at meters surrounding the park.

Saturday, August 27th at 2:00 pm

Olcott Park and Greenhouse, 711 9th Avenue West, Virginia MN, 55792   

          Presented by the Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability, the Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency, the Lyric Center for the Arts and Friends of Olcott Park Greenhouse  

PARKING: Parking is available on the street and in the park boulevard that loops through the entire park. We will create an accessible parking spot near the performance site. There is also a parking lot and Parkview Learning Center.

DIRECTIONS: This 40 acre park is located at 9th Avenue West and 9th Street North.  It is 3/4 of a mile east of Highway 53 on 9th Avenue.  Here is a link to a map.

JD Rivers’ Children’s Garden, 2900 Glenwood Avenue, Minneapolis

This site is just off of Glenwood and visible from the street.  The audience seating area is flat and grassy, with shade provided from a large tree.

PARKING: Street parking is available on Glenwood Avenue and neighboring streets, we’ll have accessible signage for

BATHROOMS: There is an accessible outdoor toilet near the community garden.  It is off of a paved walking path.

Alexis Bailly Vineyard, 18200 Kirby Ave S, Hastings

The site is open, flat and grassy with shade from area trees.  The performance area is a short walk behind the tasting room.

PARKING:  There is a gravel parking lot outside the vineyard’s tasting room and a short walk to the performance area.  There are designated accessible parking spots.

This farm is approximately 40 minutes south of Downtown Rochester, 2 hours and 10 minutes south of Minneapolis. NO DOGS allowed at this performance. Reservations for this performance are taken at 507-352-4255

Sunday, September 11th at 3:00pm
Squash Blossom Farm, 7499 60th Ave NE, Oronoco

This farm is approximately 90 minutes from the Twin Cities Metro area, 15 minutes north of Downtown Rochester. NO DOGS allowed at this performance.

PARKING: Parking is available on the street at 60th Avenue NW. We will create two accessible parking spots adjacent to the farm house. Look for signage to direct you.

Frogtown Farm, 946 Minnehaha Avenue West, St. Paul MN 55104

DIRECTIONS:  Here’s a link to a map.  Please enter from the North side of the farm on Minnehaha. The farm is located at the corner of Minnehaha Avenue West and North Milton Avenue in St. Paul, one block west of Victoria Avenue, approximately 8 blocks north of University Avenue.

PARKING: Frogtown Park and Farm is accessible by  foot, bike, bus and LRT Greenline.Vehicle parking is on-street with some limited parking in the most northeast portion of the Minnehaha Mall Lot across the street. Plan on walking a couple of blocks to get to the performance site. Handicap and special needs drivers can park in the parking lot south of the park and farm that is accessible via Lafond & Milton Aves.

Sunday, September 18th at 2:00 pm

Skidmore Park Community Garden, 1085 East 4th St, St. Paul

This park is grassy with many shady areas. Audience looks over 24 raised bed gardens made from decorative concrete blocks.

PARKING:  Parking is available on East 4th Street and neighboring streets. We will bring signs for accessible street parking adjacent to the garden on East 4th Street.  Additional parking is available at the American Indian Magnet School one block south of the garden. Signs will highlight the route to the garden.

DIRECTIONS: The Skidmore Park Community Garden is located on East 4th Street between Earl and North Hancock Street.  Here’s a link to a google map for the location.
